good show. wow. i’m digging blue cheeses these days, made my mouth water! I’m experimenting with herbs on the cheese – and oregano, parsley, etc. really changes the flavor… some good. smile.

Yeah I like to dress my cheeses up a bit also- often using different honeys, jams or compotes(still just a weird word). I have not used fresh herbs with them though so will give that a try-Sorry it seems my comment never posted- I am going through all of them and reposting now- they all show up in my admin but not on the blog. Thanks for checking it out.

K …. you should check out Benedictine Bleu , brom the monks of Benedictine Abbey in Quebec. It is semi hard (or semi-soft) depending on your perspective. But … it is crumbly , not as creamy. Goes amazingly well with Petite Sirah or Cali Pinots.nHere’s a link ….. http://www.aboutcheese.ca/shop/bleu-benedictine/nnAnd BTW ….. goat cheese …. Fifth Township Cheese, Cape Vassey Cheese ….. unbelievable. Check above link as well.

Hey Bruce- Thanks for the suggestion on the cheese- I will give it a try, doesn’t take much arm twisting to get me to try a new cheese. My wife is a goat cheese junkie-

So cheese and Petite Sirah in one comment- my be my favorite comment ever
