never put it together before...I went to college in Binghamton, NY home of the "Spiedie" which is essentially chicken, beef, lamb, or pork marinated in Italian seasoning (oil, vinegar, basil, oregano, etc) grilled on a flat skillet and then served up on a roll, sometimes with sauteed peppers and onions. Must have originally been someone's idea of a quick spiedini?
Did you soak those bamboo skewers in water before grilling them?
You should also suggest that viewers drink as well to keep it interesting.
Looked great at the end. Ciao!

Yeah Paolo is getting bigger too fast and that is a smart way to do it keeping them seperate- getting the panchetta flavor on the shrimp and beef was what I wanted so I could have done them each seperate with their own panchetta- most of the meat in the end came out medium which I was happy about as I feared they would get to the well done stage

another good show. Glad wifey likes you cookin! I do my Pancettas kabobs with each type on it's on skewer - so all meat on one, shrimp on one, etc. That way I can cook each one to the right degree... guess I miss out on the cross flavors, but when I put them onto a dish, they swap some. good show@! Amazing how your son is geting older.
